Autumn Book Sale at Falls of Schuylkill Library
After a three-year hiatus, the Book Sale returns to the Falls Library! Join us in he library meeting room, Warden Drive & Midvale Avenue, for any and all dates:
A “First Look” Preview Sale, for members of the Friends of Falls of Schuylkill Library, is scheduled for Monday, November 21 from 1pm – 3pm ($3 an item). Refreshments. You may join the Friends Group at the preview ($10 a year) or online: www.eastfallslibraryfriends.org/join-us/
A Public Preview will be held later that day, November 21, from 4pm – 7pm with books priced at $2 each. Free; everyone invited.
This year the Autumn Book Sale will be a two-day sale beginning the day after Thanksgiving – Friday and Saturday, November 25 & 26 from 10am – 3pm . Books will be individually priced – hardbacks are just $1 each and paperbacks are 50 cents.
Books remaining after the Nov. 25 & 26 sale will be available for two “Give What You Want/Free” days – Monday, Nov. 28 (2 – 6pm) and Tuesday, Nov. 29 (1 – 4pm)
The Autumn Book Sale, sponsored by the Friends of Falls of Schuylkill Library, raises funds for library materials and programs. Your support is encouraged and appreciated.
